Scenes and scheduling
The user creates a scene (“Night”, “Airing”) and schedules when it runs. The schedule lives on our backend, not in the phone — so it works even when the phone is off.
A native app that turns controlling decentralised heat-recovery ventilation into a couple of taps — on the phone, the tablet, the watch and the TV.
Decentralised heat-recovery units are usually controlled with a remote or a button on the wall. The moment you have several of them in a house, that stops making sense: every room runs its own mode, nothing can be scheduled, and nothing is visible in one place.
We wanted an app that talks to the units directly, works from a watch, and does not look like an industrial panel from the nineties.

Several units can be managed together as one room or a whole floor.
Phone, tablet, Apple Watch, Wear OS, Apple TV and Android TV — the same design and the same features everywhere, adapted to how each device is controlled.

Paid automations run on our backend, and when a subscription lapses the backend returns the hardware to its safe default. Paid behaviour does not stay in the unit “free forever”.
We also built the app’s site, airrec.app — multilingual, fast, in the same visual language.
The app covers seven device types and is translated into 50 languages — with identical design on iOS and Android.
Hardware control is bound to a live subscription and verified server-side, so a paid feature cannot “survive” outside the app.
After our own trademark screen we renamed the original BRAVO + to AIRREC — a collision with someone else’s mark was solved before launch, not after it.
